Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner Bette Midler performed in a basement bathhouse of a New York City building early in her career, and she has since sold more than 30 million records.

The artist tells Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist why she decided now was the right time to re-release her 1972 debut album, “The Divine Miss M,” as she prepares to return to Broadway in “Hello, Dolly!”
